‘Spirituality Daily With Conquer’
Topic: No Body Is Perfect
Text: Luke 8:2 (KJV) “And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils,”
Calvary greetings in the name of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Welcome to this day that the Lord has made specifically for conquering and celebrating victory in every endeavours.
Nobody is perfect.
This was certainly true of Mary Magdalene, who was widely regarded by scholars to be a prostitute before embracing the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Here she is represented as being possessed by seven devils but also being healed of evil spirits and infirmities.
Many of the women in the Bible days were known for their behaviors before accepting Christ.
To judge the people around you and the people in the Bible is to fill your own heart with evil and hatreds that destroys silently.
Who are we to judge? Only God can judge us, and He will.
He did judge Mary Magdalene and granted her the grace for walking in the newness of life found in Christ and this granted her the grace to stand beside Jesus in His last days.
Was she not worthy of being beside him?
Of course she was, and her name being mentioned in these verses shows what the true content of her character was when Jesus knew her, the true content of her character when she embraced the love of God, casting out the evil spirits and infirmities.
Mary Magdalene was present at Jesus' crucifixion (John 19:25) and at his burial (Mark 15:47).
Too many believers in Christ consider who she was BEFORE accepting Jesus as her Lord and Savior rather than considering who she became AFTER accepting Him.
Do we do the same for other characters of the Bible and to the people around us?
Let's meditate on how we treat various figures in the Bible and the people around us and to cast out any evil from your own hearts.
Let's accept Jesus as Mary Magdalene did, knowing that if she can do it, we too can do it.
Nobody is perfect, accept the Lord Jesus Christ, cast out the devils in your heart, get healed of every sickness and infirmities incurred from judging, let's walk in the newness of life and conquering daily.
May the grace to judge not and perfectly execute this mission be granted us in the name of Jesus Christ.
Do have a blessed Sunday.
